WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE TREATMENT?
You do not have to prepare in any way for services that you order. We will provide a full set of disposable underwear and a towel, and all equipment necessary to perform the massage will be quickly set in Your room.
HOW TO BENEFIT THE MOST FROM THE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE?
Every moment of massage should be connected with a sense of comfort and relaxation. Our therapists will make every effort for you to fully experience the massage; however, we need Your support. Let us know every time you want to change the strength and type of pressure or whether a particular motion/position is uncomfortable for you. Also, inform the therapist, prior to the massage, about all your preferences and everything that causes a discomfort for you.
WHAT COSMETICS DO YOU USE FOR MASSAGES?
We perform the massage with the use of a natural essential oil. At the end of the treatment, we remove the excess of it with a compress or a towel – you can feel the result of its application when putting on stockings or tight clothes. After some time, the skin regains its normal condition, but we suggest that you put on loose clothing right after the treatment in order to feel comfortable.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE TREATMENT?
We suggest that several minutes after the treatment, you remain in the state of relaxation after the therapist leaves the room. In order to fully experience the soothing effect of the massage, it is best to only perform activities without haste, not to make any sudden moves, let the body regain its full activity. The massage does not negatively influence the efficiency, ability to focus or motor skills. However, for some time after it, you will feel deeply relaxed.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR MASSAGE?
Time of the massage should be chosen in accordance with own personal preferences. Morning massage will give you energy, evening massage will relax you and prepare you for sleep – Your reaction is always a result of how your biological clock works, so the optimal time for massage remains an individual preference.
DO I HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY NAKED DURING THE MASSAGE?
Most techniques are traditionally applied on a naked body for the treatment to be most efficient. In case of treatments offered by book-a-balance you will remain in an underwear for your lower body parts for the entire treatment. It does not influence the effectiveness of the massage, but it will guarantee full comfort and a sense of privacy.
WILL THE THERAPIST BE PRESENT WHILE I UNDRESS?
The therapist will leave the room when you undress for massage, lie down on the table and cover your body with a sheet or a towel.
WILL I BE COVERED WITH SHEET OR A TOWEL DURING THE MASSAGE SESSION?
You will be covered for the entire treatment in order to keep you warm and comfortable. Only body parts on which the therapist works, will be uncovered during particular stages of the massage. The entire massage will be performed gently, and with care for Your privacy.
WHICH PARTS OF MY BODY WILL BE MASSAGED?
Massage is preceded by conversation, during which you and the therapist will discuss the anticipated results of the session. This will make it possible to determine, which body parts need to be massaged. Typical massage session includes work on back, shoulders, legs, feet, hands, head and neck. During the massage, we omit the intimate body parts and breasts (women).
HOW LONG DOES THE MASSAGE LAST?
The average massage of an entire body lasts for about an hour. Preparation for treatment and creating appropriate work conditions takes another 5-10 minutes.
WHAT SHOULD I DO DURING THE MASSAGE?
Relax! The therapist will move you gently or instruct you on what to do during the massage session (e.g. to lift your arms). Most clients close their eyes and relax completely. Some clients prefer to talk during session – the therapist will adjust to your expectations on that matter.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE THE ROOM FOR MASSAGE?
Please remove all objects that take a lot of space of the room and arrange space for the massage table. Before the therapist arrives, set the temperature and lighting that fits you best (the room can be illuminated, or the light can be dimmed). Our therapist will provide music that will relax you.
